• Circle Time-Calendar, Weather, Days of Week, Sign Language, Songs
• Language Arts-letter sounds, blending, reading cvc and cvce words, reading Abeka readers, writing 3-4 letter words.
• Math-counting, recognizing, and writing numbers by 1s, 5s, 10s to 100, telling time to the quarter hour, coin recognition and adding small amounts together, addition facts through 10, basic subtraction understanding, patterns.
• Bible- Walk through the Old Testament (learning hand motions to the Old Testament)
• Enrichment- Character Development, Community Helpers, Poetry
• Art- Hands-on projects related to academic themes
• Music Theory-fundamentals of music theory through singing.
• Physical Education-physical fitness, cooperative games, sports
• Science-hands on science experiments and learning about God's world.
• Social Studies- Countries Around the World (studying new country every two weeks with cooking projects)
• Class Projects- 100-Day Celebration, Art and Music Festival.
• Field Trips- field trips will be planned throughout the year as venues are available.
